On March 15, 2024, during the 87th Araw ng Davao celebration at SMX Lanang Premier in Davao City, Silangan Multipurpose Cooperative was honored with the "Pasidungog: Garbo sa Dabaw" award by the City of Davao. This recognition underscores the significant collaboration between local government units and the private sector in implementing impactful programs and initiatives across different sectors of society.
A homegrown cooperative in Davao City, SILANGAN has been a 3-year recipient of the "Most Outstanding Cooperative for Large Category" in the city, putting it in the Hall of Fame.
