Member Relations Specialist Full Time

Job Description

To plan and carry out membership recruitment and retention activities in accordance with the cooperatives plans and programs.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Salary: From Php11,518.00 per month

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that each member receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
  • Entertains members & potential members
  • Assists the clients in filling up the required forms
  • Receives, checks and verifies membership application
  • Checks requirements for membership
  • Conducts CI/BI on member applicants with DACMEN, other coops, etc.
  • Arrange with member the schedule for physical exam
  • Conducts PMES to pre-screened member-applicant
  • Explain, promote and sell cooperative’s products and services
  • Creates new account record for the depositor in the computer system of the newly accepted members based on documents
  • Informs the depositor of the features of the coop’s savings account and its corresponding policies and rules as printed in the passbook
  • Prepares ID, mortuary certificate, index card, specimen signature card of new members
  • Prepares monthly membership report to the Branch Manager
  • Prepares approved new members’ folders for the BOD Secretary to sign
  • Files membership folders after approval of the BOD Secretary
  • Maintain and develop the computerized customer database
  • Performs other functions occasionally assigned Maintain and develop the computerized customer and prospect database
  • Develop ideas and create offers for marketing to major and other accounts
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by mail, telephone and personal visits
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys

Requirements

  • Graduate of a 4 year business course
  • Fluent in oral and written communication
  • entertains members & potential members
  • assists the clients in filling up the required forms
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Can establish and maintain good interpersonal relationship
  • Conversant in the basics of the cooperative’s products and services
  • Has working knowledge in computer
  • Demonstrated skills in problem identification and solving
  • Willing to learn and be trained
  • Pursue best practices with respect to this function
  • With pleasing personality
